ARP Model City

An Augmented Reality app aimed to preserve and promote city's heritage.
Using paper cards with drawings representing the monuments or points of interest of the Penafiel city, the user can scan these cards and see their representation by 3D models previously captured using photogrammetry. With complementary information about the monuments in text and audio for acessibility. This app was developed in an academic context for a group project at ISCE Douro Penafiel during my studies, where I was responsible for the development of the AR app and some 3D work.

Evolution Back to the Past

This project aimed to create an AR app that would showcase the history of Castro de Monte Mozinho, from past to present.

A plaster mockup (150cm x 120cm) representing the remains of Castro Monte Mozinho was built and digitized using photogrammetry. An AR app was created to allow users to visualize how Castro de Monte Mozinho was in the past.

This project was developed in an academic context at ISCE Douro Penafiel, where I was responsible for AR development and 3D work. It was created by a team of 9 students during the first year of CTESP Multimedia Development, for the field homogenization in perception and technology.
